My team for this project was Poh Maga, Sam Boyd, Dalton Scheiner, and me (Jessica Walters).
Summary
For this project, the task was to create a video about the physics of a specific sports action so that people who play those sports can get better at them. We started by brainstorming ideas and my team decided on a bike jump. Then, we created a script and storyboard so we would know what we needed to say and what video clips we wanted to show. My team spent a lot of time on this step. After that, we moved on to the filming stage which was set back a little for my team because Dalton was out sick for a week. Then, we had the editing stage when the video was all put together.
Reflection
During this project, I enjoyed getting to leave the classroom to film things. I also liked the team I was in for this project. I think my team worked together very well when we were all there. I also think we did well when it came to editing. One new skill that I gained during this project was patience. While Dalton was sick, it was hard to get much work done so we had to be patient until we could contact him. I think one challenge my team faced was staying focused the whole time. One thing I could still work on is taking a leadership role. During this project, I did not take on a leadership role, I just helped where help was needed, so I should work on that in future projects.
