Our Robot(s)
TheseusTheseus is the robot we are currently planning on taking to FRC. We have already started building a duplicate to practice with after build season. It has front pneumatic wheels, back rubber wheels, and tank drive. Its frame is low enough to go under the low bar, and high enough to go over the drive over obstacles. It also has a pair of wheels used to collect and fire the ball.

PerseusPerseus is our second robot design, which we are planning on taking to Cal Games. It has a very similar design except it has tank treads instead of wheels. The treads make it a bit easier to go over the drive over obstacles, but they have proved much harder to get working correctly.

No Strings AttachedNo Strings Attached is our side project of programming the robot to be able to be driven with only one wireless controller. This will make it more convenient to drive the robots around at science fairs and demonstrations. Currently, we have a completed NSA for Perseus. Theseus will be next.

Name Meanings - Theseus got its name because its original nickname was Trollbot, and Theseus was kind of a troll. Perseus was originally designed to "destroy," or go through, all of the obstacles, and the name "Perseus" means "destroyer." No Strings Attached was named such because using just one wireless controller means no wires. Duh.
